Where is your office located and what are your office hours?

Our main office is located in Wheat Ridge, CO and our office hours are 7:30am to 4pm MST, Monday thru Friday.

Do you have showrooms? How can your products be seen?

Several of our dealers and our local representatives maintain a vast selection of samples for viewing. Please contact our customer service department with any questions, or find your local representative on our website.

How can emuamericas' products be purchased?

emuamericas' products are for commercial use. We have an extensive dealer network in North America to supply our products to the foodservice, hospitality and contract markets.

Do you maintain inventory? Where is the product shipped from? How do I get a freight quote?

emuamericas, llc maintains a large quantity of items in different color finishes for immediate shipment (AKA Quick Ship). Please refer to the Quick Ship finish listed for each product either on our website on the product details page or our price list.

All product are shipped FOB Lebanon PA 17042.

Dealers and representatives will be able to provide you with a freight quote.

What are the available finishes for each item and your lead time?

On our website, you will find the available finishes for each product on the product details page.

We offer specific Quick Ship finishes and Special Order finishes for each of our products. Quick Ship items are in stock and ready for shipment*, while special order items require an 16-18 week lead time.

*Our in stock quantities are based on historical sales; we do our best to always have quick ship finishes in stock, however in our busy season it may be possible for a quick ship item to be out of stock. We receive goods continuously and the maximum lead time is 4-6 weeks, but we will always offer similar items available at the time.

How soon will my order ship? How will my order ship?

If the item is in stock we ship your order within 24-48 hours of the order confirmation; if the product requires a lead time due to a special order item, the estimated ship date is noted on the order confirmation.

Most shipments are via a common carrier; all the products are packaged for LTL shipments. Tracking information is provided on our daily invoices that are e-mailed to the purchaser.

What makes emu metal different than other metal furniture?

emu uses first quality materials in the manufacturing process. In addition our e-coating facility provides superior treatment of steel frames. E-coating is our primer, applied as a dip process, which ensures anti-rust protection and excellent adherence of the powder coat finish. The powder coat colors are exclusive mixes which are designed and tested for durability and longevity in most environments. It is made to be outdoors.

How can the furniture be maintained and cared for to prolong the life of the product?

As with any equipment, periodic maintenance is necessary to ensure longevity of the product and customer satisfaction. We recommend that the products be examined every 30 days.

NOTE: warranty may be voided if proper maintenance is not followed.

To prevent the product from becoming unstable, loose hardware should be tightened as required and missing or worn out foot caps must be replaced. Items requiring adjustment or showing any sign of structural failure should be taken out of service immediately until the required adjustments are completed.

Metal frame items should be cleaned with warm water and non-abrasive cleaner using a cloth or soft bristle brush; NO power washing. Product near salt water should be washed daily in order to avoid salt deposits which will eventually corrode the product.

Aluminum is very susceptible to attack by strong acids and alkalis used in some cleaning products, and contact with salt. It is critical to keep the salt off the product. Aluminum products should be cleaned with lukewarm water and a non-abrasive cleaner such as dish soap applied using a soft cloth for most common dirt and stains. NEVER use an abrasive cleaner, scouring pad, and NO power washing. For stubborn and sticky stains a soft bristle brush can be used along with the water and non-abrasive cleaner. Cleaning solution is recommended at a ΒΌ cup (2oz) of dish soap in one gallon of lukewarm water. After cleaning, rinse product thoroughly. Every month, due to proximity of product in a salt environment, after cleaning, we recommend the product to be protected with a high quality paste wax or a wipe on product. Be certain to follow directions on the product label.

Teak is a natural product, it will stain and absorb any oils, and it will gray over time; to maintain its original color, it should be treated as necessary with teak cleaner, followed by a teak varnish. Be certain to follow directions on the product label.

For storage, all furniture should be stored neatly, stacked to suggested height and packed in a clean and dry area. Tables should not be stacked. Stacked chairs should not be dragged, and when being unstacked they should not be slammed or dropped to the ground. People should not rock backwards or stand on any emuamericas' items.

What is the warranty on your products?

emuamericas, llc offers a three (3) year limited warranty, for full details please click here.

The products must be used, maintained and stored under normal commercial use. The warranty is only valid if all parts that wear, such as foot caps, get replaced minimally annually.

To report a warranty claim, please contact the dealer where you have purchased the items. We will need a completed quality claim form and individual photograph for any item claimed in addition to a group photograph of the defective lot.
